So for years before I made the switch, I referred to myself on many occasions as a self proclaimed “ranch snob”.  I was super picky about ranch dressing because I consider myself an aficionado for it.  I knew which restaurants had the best and the worst and I also wouldn’t eat anywhere that had ranch I didn’t like (I literally ate a salad with every meal when eating out, even breakfast most times).  Silly, right?  Well the good thing is, with you now knowing that, you know this recipe is legit.  This veggie lover don’t play with her ranch dressing!

Okay, maybe I went a little too far with that, but you get my point.  I ate this stuff on just about anything and it was perfect for my jar salads that week (recipe/guide coming soon!).  So much flavor and it’s great as a dressing OR a dip!  You’ll love it, I promise!

Ingredients:

 12oz vegan sour cream
5oz verde salsa
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon salt

If you have a coffee grinder, pulse dry ingredients for about 1 minute.  If you don’t, it’s fine, just skip this step.  I actually don’t have one, but I found that it would help to break down the herbs a little more for texture sake.

Vegan Spicy Ranch

Combine herbs in a small bowl with verde salsa and sour cream.  Mix well and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving to let the flavors meld.

And voila!  It’s that simple!
